In the evidence-based world of medicine, everything we see, hear, study, and do is backed by research. From paracetamol and antibiotics to the vaccines against COVID, we live in a world where the conclusions drawn from medical research impact day-to-day lives. And yet, research is an incredibly vast subject. There exists a definite gap between our curriculum and hands-on research that can seem impossible to bridge to a beginner. NMVS Research Academy, with its dynamic group of mentors, is the perfect place to bridge this gap, learn about research, and grow academically. The concept of doing by learning is uniquely suited to help mentees inculcate and pursue their interests and passions in research.
